SATURDAY AT THE WOMEN'S CONFERENCE
Last night(FRI), Pastor Prem and his family invited me to join them for family prayer. It was so dear, Grandma, an auntie, the young woman that traveled with me and the baby and Pastor Prem and his dear wife. They were all seated in the floor except Pastor and I. His wife started singing praise songs, some of them sang in their dialect, and some of us in English. The presence of God was so sweet. Then we read from the scriptures, each one reading 4 verses. Eph. 4. They asked me to begin and then went around the circle. All but three had Bibles and read in their own language. Then they asked me to expound on what we had read. Ready in season and out. Then they asked me to pray and gave prayer requests. The grandmother has severe arthritis in her knees and she asked to have prayer for healing. God is so amazing and faithful, we agreed together for many things, one heart, one mind, one accord, Pastor Clarence came home and brought pizza that he had them make just for me. Vegetables, very light white sauce, and very tasty cheese thick and white. He said he told them to make it with "no spice" for his American sister. They are so kind trying to make everything pleasamt for me. I am blessed even though some things are very hard. No shower two faucets and a bucket. Then you push the water out a hole with a squeegie. Marbel floors, very slippery. Praise God for a real western toilet. Another awesome day, I rose early and had a wonderful breakfast of french toast. No spice!!!! They make it just for me. The Canadian team came about 9:30 for their Indian breakfast. They live in Canada, but most immigrated from Shri Lanka. We had praise and prayer together. These women are mighty women of prayer and the house shook with the presence of the Lord. We prayed for one another and for the Women's Conference we were going to share at. God spoke many things in the time we were praying, and we could really feel the annointing fall. We went to the church to find 500 women and about 15 young girls. Praise and worship is like nothing I have ever experienced before. Those women were dancing and praising and raising their hands. It was very powerful, many so not speak any English, so they were singing familiar praise songs in their language and in English. It over joyed my heart to join with them praising our God. Then Pastor introduced my and I spoke a few moments and then the Pastor from Canada came. She ministered for about 40 min. then we praised and worshiped more and then the next session began. The power of God was heavy and many fell under the power of Holy Spirit. Then Pastor gave an altar call and we prayed for nearly everyone. Many people were healed and annointed. It was such a privilege to be a part of what God was doing. This lasted for about 4 hours. Then the youth group and the men served a lunch. It was very beautiful food. Rice with lentl sauce and several dishes I did not recognice with brilliant orange and reds(curry and chile) very spicey, and Lamb. They brought in special gifts for me. A beautiful scripture plaque from the Women's ministry and they a lovely glass candle holder. They were so sweet and loving to us.
